I unboxed this item, thoroughly cleaned all the parts with hot soapy water and started using it. I ground up 8 lbs. of grass feed beef fat (which is expensive and hard to obtain). I started to notice a funny smell (like burning plastic) while I was grinding the last couple pounds of meat and this caused a little concern. However, the biggest problem was upon inspection of the meat after I was done grinding. I noticed a metallic substance in the meat. As you can see from my photos it's a greasy metallic substance that would rub off on my fingers when I touched the meat. This clearly came from the grinder. So basically, this grinder ruined all of my expensive grass fed beef. I'm extremely mad and disappointed. Especially since I just got on Amazon and read the reviews of this product more carefully. This problem has been encountered by multiple people in the past and has clearly not been corrected.
