I set this printer up over 5 times and it always states on the printer window that the setup is incomplete and the printer will not print unless web services and other items are not turned off. It always states the printer is offline. The only way to get the printer online is during installation, you have to pick one of the HP ink programs and then the printer will install and work. HP is holding the customer hostage by doing this. Either you buy into their program or you simply can’t finish the installation. After the installation finished and I paid to join HP’s ink program. I decided to print a simple picture. The whole picture was a bluish color. The printer kept asking to clean the print heads and then print an alignment page. I printed 2 pictures, 10 alignments pages and maybe 3 test pages. I cleaned the printer heads many times. The last color picture I printed, the colors were way off (cartoonish). I even checked to make sure I put the right color cartridge in the right spot. (I did). The pictures I am printing are 5 by 7 pictures. Not a lot of ink. Then my printer states low on ink buy more ink. Are you kidding!!!!!!! What a major SCAM.... I have always bought HP products. Printers, desktops, all my laptops etc. After this encounter I will seriously consider buying equipment from other venders. PS Printer got reboxed and Sent back to HP!!!!!!!!! Now I have to figure out how to cancel the ink program I had to buy into and then look for a different brand Printer. I am very surprised other people haven’t said much about this yet. On the message boards they do! I tried to give it zero stars, but i had to pick one star!
