I have long been a fan of Star Trek and well remember the original when they first aired back in the day.. With interest I watched the different versions , movies,etc., with excitement... The current colloquialism Woke best describes the mess of Picard. I don't know if I can fully express just how disappointing this is. Great actors now are , whether willingly or unwillingly , part of Marxist "woke culture" and everything is seen and done through this minority lense that thinks its a majority, politically or otherwise. Current episode as I write has Picard and small crew back in LA 2024.. They see a fire burning on a hillside and make this ridiculous statement that humans are destroying the earth ( we are not) and that there's only a short time left.. Ugh. Then there's a scene where one crew member, Rio, is getting treated in a small clinic ( where they don't ask questions about who they treat - nod and wink to illegals invading our southern border by the millions) and implying that the bad guys are ICE who's job it is to arrest the law breakers , as they should and deport them, as they should. Wow , guys.. Really? You couldn't write any better script than this drivel? Unless you are a true believer Marxist Woketopian, who thinks men can have babies, don't even bother with this garbage and just watch reruns of the originals , where men were men, women were women and balance and sanity was the norm ( and will be once again somewhere down the road).
