When not defective, they're great. But too many are defective.
We have ordered these refills for a while - unfortunately, when you get a box you need to open it right away and check each refill cartridge to make sure it isn't defective. We are very lucky when we get an entire box of working cartridges. Usually, if we have one bad one, we'll make do and just lose a lot of bags. But recently, we've been getting shipments where all 3 of the refills are defective - so we just send them back to Amazon. Attached is a picture of the problem... when you go to pull the beginning of the bag out, it is doubled over....for a LOT of feet of bag, sometimes all the way to the end. So, you have to pull ALL of the plastic out, pull the doubled part out of that and then Voilà, you have a useless refill cartridge with all the plastic hanging out of it! There is no realistic way to feed all the plastic back into the cartridge by hand - and certainly not for all 3 of them!
So, buyer beware - and be ready to send these back to Amazon as defective. The Genie manufacturer needs to get the message that they are building defective units. (FYI - you can return the item to Amazon for free - UPS will even come pick it up from your house for free, so it's really easy).
