We purchased the Lagunamoon Essential Oils Gift Set 16 x 10mL. When they arrived we immediately performed two purity tests on all 16 oils; the paper drop test and the freezer test. Only 6 out of 16 passed both tests. Hence, only 2 stars for only 6 out of 16 Pure Essential Oils. (Is this worth the price of the set?) The Test results, first the good, then the bad: 1. (Good) The six oils that passed both tests were Peppermint, Lemon, Orange, Cinnamon, Rosemary and Lavender. This indicates they are 100% Pure, as advertised. 2. (Bad) In the paper drop test on white cotton rag paper: None of the oils evaporated fast enough to indicate dilution with a solvent such as alcohol. However, after 2-3 hours, then rechecked after 12 hours, 9 of the 16 oils had not fully evaporated; each leaving an oil blot on the paper. This indicates they have been diluted with an unidentified carrier oil. These 9 oils include Clove, Frankincense, Patchouli, Lemongrass, Grapefruit, Eucalyptus, Jasmin, Tea Tree and Ylang Ylang. 4. (Bad) In the overnight freezer test, 3 of the oils, Tea Tree, Ylang Ylang and Bergamot, froze into a solid sludge, indicating they have been diluted with water. 5. Summary (Bad): 10 of the 16 essential oils in this set are not 100% pure and have been diluted with water, an unidentified carrier oil, or both. You decide...
