These are not worth the price
I had seen ads for these gloves on social media - they show someone with the gloves on, brushing/petting their animal and then picking up their hand and pulling a sheet of fur off the glove. It looks so easy! And it looks so contained! There isn’t fur flying everywhere and it all just sticks to the glove in one piece. I assumed, like all of the ads I see on social media, that it was some kind of gimmick and didn’t think twice.
Then I watched my friend’s cat while they were out of town and my friend had gloves like these, so I tried them out. They were exactly the miracle they looked like on the ads I had seen. I brushed their cat for 20 min a day and would just pull off sheet after sheet of fur and throw it away. A little bit would escape and fly around the house a little, but the majority of the fur stayed on the glove. Having two cats of my own, one who sheds like crazy all the time, I figured, “ok great! These are worth it! I’ll find some on Amazon!”
I look around and from what I can tell, all these gloves are the same! I buy a pair that is between $12 and $15. The day they come in, I try them out, and immediately realize they are NOT the same. The fur doesn’t stick to the glove - yeah! It comes off my cat! But, it flies around everywhere and it’s messy and not the solution I was looking for.
I do some more digging around and figure maybe that was a knock-off so I will try this HandsOn pair for $25 and while these gloves are a better construction and more fitted, the exact same thing happens, as you can see in my video.
I am VERY disappointed. I don’t know if I will keep trying to find the other gloves or not. I recommend you do NOT spend your money on these - you can get the same thing for cheaper. It wasn’t worth paying almost twice as much to have gloves that fit my hand better. I want gloves that actually capture the fur!
