I had no major problem with the Smart Cart on my first trip from the grocery store. I did notice, however, that the small wheels were taking a beating from the pavement. On my second trip from the store I managed to walk only a few blocks before one of the wheels melted off. This was not a hot day and I was under tree cover. Apparently the friction between the tiny wheels and the pavement caused the plastic to heat up and melt. I ended up having to drag the cart home with only one wheel attached. The cart itself is nicely designed. It's just a shame that more effort wasn't put into making the wheels sturdier. In a nutshell, the Smart Cart is a smart product with dumb wheels. I'd hold off buying this product until they go back to the drawing board and do something about this flaw.
