I purchased this product to make sure i liked it before having 2 of them. The first one came in and is as described. Took a a few mins to figure out how to put together - no issues. 2nd one I ordered - i clicked reorder button and amazon was Out of stock and ordered it from 3rd party. 3rd party sent me a Chinese knock off, not even close to being the same otherwise I would have kept it. Lets be real we all know where this stuff is made. However they are not the same as in the picture if you pay attention to detail. Attached are photos of the boxes, the baxton one and the one in the un-named box with no style numbers etc. if you look at the picture of the wood the legs are constructed completely different, not tapered, the stain is different, the cushion color is different. As for putting together and people saying the holes don't line up - you need to loosely put the all the hardware in first, then tighten everything once its all together. I never tried to assemble the knock off so who knows maybe the holes don't line up. And finally, if you get a baxton brand chair be aware it is very stiff to sit on, I am ok with that but others may not be
