Not worth much - permissions make it a 1 star
I thought this was a cook book app where I would have interactive recipe info. It would be nice to see recipes with the ability to see how each ingredient offsets a particular "bad" food (lowering salt needs, reducing fat, etc.), but this is really nothing more than an app to link to other websites. I could have quickly searched for any of these recipes online without paying for this app. I'm not really sure if the developer got permission to link to these sites, but assuming he/she did, it is still not an app worth more than a dime. You really have access to all of these recipes for free if your phone/ tablet has the ability to access the internet...and it must or else you couldn't download the Amazon store. As a result, it earns a total of 2 stars. Furthermore, be aware there are some permissions that allow the app to work in the background and give permission for information exchange when you are not even using the app. This might simply be downloading ads, but why does it need ads in a paid app? Unfortunately, it may also be trying to get your info. Regardless of the reason, I don't see a need for it. I am deducting one star for this permission. As a result, I do not recommend paying anything for this app. If you can get it as the FAOTD, you might want to take a look at it, but beware of the permissions.
