I had very high hopes for these boots. I had a pair of Docs made of leather that lasted for over 2 years. When I went vegan, I thought I'd never be able to get another pair. Then I found out they made vegan boots and was so excited! I heard great things about these boots and finally was able to buy a pair. Three months in, the soles started to come off. It wasn't bad at first, but now they're almost completely off! These boots were delivered on August 22 2017. Today is January 27 2018. That's barely 5 months of use. I've had $30 boots from Wal-Mart last longer than that! I'd understand if I had a more active lifestyle, but I sit on my butt in an office all day and have only gone hiking twice in the time I've had them. I'm actually hoping these boots were a cheap knockoff and not actually made by Dr. Martens because the company is known for the quality of their footwear and they last a lot longer than 5 months!
