This is my second Presto cooker/steamer. The first one (06003) was fantastic. I bought this one (06006) not realizing it was a different model. Although much smaller, that didn't bother me too much. What is really wrong with this model is the basket. We purchased this one about 5 months ago, and look at the basket. The metal is so weak that it is collapsing; the holes in the basket are dissolving and breaking apart. Definitely can't use it any more as I am not interested in my family eating small pieces of metal. I am going to purchase Model 06003 now that I realize there is a difference.
