I’ve been using colavita extra virgin Olive oil for over a decade. I usually buy it at the grocery store, but this time I thought I’d try buying a larger bottle from amazon. I’m kicking myself for it. Amazon, is quite literally the land of imposters. Knowing this, I still bought it. Regretfully, this, I’m pretty certain, is not full on extra virgin olive oil. I make all of my salad dressings with colavita, have for years. I’m used to the way it acts when put in the fridge. It solidifies completely. Now, all oils will solidify in some form, or become cloudy in the fridge. But what came out of this bottle- stays pure liquid after a whole day in the fridge. I’m not saying it’s full on imposter, but I AM saying that this is not my normal colavita. This, I’m suspecting, is cut with a lesser quality oil, like a seed oil, or it may just not be virgin. What ever the case, it’s not pure evoo. I’m completely dissatisfied. Throwing it away and learning my lesson. Back to the grocery store I go, cuz somethings not right with this one.
