I have used these pie plates a handful of times without incident (and have had pyrex pie plates in the past without any problems) - roasting vegetables, quiches, pies, etc. - until a few days ago when I pulled a pie crust out of the oven and placed it on the counter. Thankfully, I walked across the kitchen right after, and so was not in close proximity when the dish exploded just moments later. Do not purchase these plates; they are dangerous!
