Update July '20: After returning this poor quality version, I ordered 2 directly through the Denman USA website and got the exact quality I was expecting. The brush I received in June '20 through Amazon was definitely a knockoff. Original review: Knockoff! (Or Denman quality has gone dramatically downhill in 1 year, which I hope is not the case). I was so happy with my original brush, that I purchased a second brush in June '20 for a second bathroom and the difference in quality is very clear. The one on the left (darker red) in all my pictures is wonderful quality and purchased June '19. In comparison, the knockoff (in the right in all pics) is made of a different material. It smells and feels exactly like a playground rubber ball instead of being entirely odorless. The rubber is less structurally sound and the edges are completely unfinished. Not only is this absolutely ugly, but the rubber flexes too much while detangling and it's only a matter of time before it tears through. The bristles are also of a different strength - they're definitely less strong and don't brush through my hair nearly as well. The holes for the bristles are much smaller and, again, unfinished looking. I'm very unhappy with my second brush and am returning it. Hopefully this is just a knockoff and I'll be able to find a proper Denman in a brick and mortar store instead. 5 stars for a good quality version! Less than 1 star for this garbage.
