These things are cheaply made, and, 150 miles is BS! I'm 50 miles south of Chicago and could not get all basic channels. I should be able to get dozens of channels pointing the antenna 22 degrees from north. Instead, I had to keep rotating the thing to lock on to different channels. The best part? Those 2 buttons on the remote do not spin the thing CW and CCW like you are thinking. Either button rotates the antenna either direction RANDOMLY. It may turn one way 3 times in a row, then go the other way, all with the same button. I did not believe this was intentional, so I contacted customer support. That's really how it works! Maybe if you have xray vision and can see through your roof to know which way it is going, you might be okay, but I can't. Plus, the remote control is so weak I could not use it through a window from 15 ft away standing outside so I could see the stupid thing on my 40 ft tower. There are multiple brand names selling these, but they are all the same. I bought a Channel Master CM-4228HD and CM amplifier. Holy smokes! Dozens of channels at 90 - 100 on the TVs signal meter. Through a big maple tree no less.
