So far it's been great for light trimming. HOWEVER: The unit I received is a 'Type 4' that even Dewalt parts knows nothing about. This unit has a strange sppol head configuration, not the standard 'bump' button on the line spool. The line spool has a cap that holds on with (2) plastic tabs. I wanted to buy an extra line spool to allow me to stay in yard when I needed new line. Nope. The Picture in the Amazon description shows the old [standard?] type of spool, however my picture shows the flat cap for spool I received.
