Within first month of light use (less than 6 times) the metal finish on the inside base started 'chipping.' Wonder if this indicates inferior quality metal (defective 'seconds') used on the Farberware products sold by Meyer Corporation. If you purchase similar items, I suggest you keep the packaging for a while so you can easily return it.
