The artwork in this book is breath-taking and Katie Daisy is one of my favorite artists…but…a word of warning- there are numerous references to things that are new-age, occult, wiccan practices, astrology, etc…even “how tos”. They really don’t start until half way through the book so I was taken a bit off guard. These things are opposite of my beliefs so it was disheartening to have so much of that in a book I was looking forward to for months. So much respect for Katie but I found the dark religious references to be numerous and troubling. If you’re looking for a neutral, just-for-fun beautiful book, unfortunately, this is not it and that’s so disappointing. I wish that it had simply been a book about the beauty of nighttime, wildlife, the outdoors, nature, etc.
