I was an early adopter, and for out of the box, it offered features that I was looking for in a security camera. Then on Sept. 28 we got an email stating the features that were advertised (on the box) are no longer included as free. More so, you had a week to join an expensive membership. When you take the features without membership, there are a number of other products that are substantially better, less expensive. Bluntly, the company changed policy with no consideration for their existing customer base. Fortunately, Amazon gave me a "Good Will" refund on this set. I hope they can get that back from Canary because Amazon has done nothing wrong... infact, they are showing what a company does that respects their customers. Photo is of the Box where it clearly states, No Contract/Monthly Fee. You now need a $9.99 membership to access the same features that were advertised free.
