I really like this planter; however, when I opened the box there were a few ants surrounding one of the wooden legs on the stand. Once, I put it on the house floor, the ants came swarming out of a hole that was in the wooden leg- must have nested in there. UGH! Ants all over the floor. Once I sprayed it thoroughly, they were gone. I am afraid now to have the wooden stand in the house for fear that the warmer house temps will being them back. So, I just use the planter without the stand.
