Have used this carrier twice since purchase in April 2016. At the outset it appeared to be sturdy and just what I needed. However, today, June 16, 2016 (2nd use) it FELL APART as I was leaving the vet's office. My cat escaped and it took 6 men to corral him safely. Fortunately he is fine but I am a wreck and will be sending this piece of junk back for a refund. Do not waste your money. You get what you pay for and I should know that by now as I am 65. Update review of 6-17-16: Could not send this piece of junk back so did the next best thing. I put it back together again and secured the four corners with cable ties. The mfg. even says in its instructions "There are small rectangular holes on the four corners of the Pet Carrier next to the Connectors for cable ties if added security is needed in order for safe travel." If added security is needed? You bet your bottom dollar it is needed!! Go to your local hardware store and buy some cable ties and put them on this thing before you even think of putting your pet inside. Take it from a grandma!
