I’ve used memory foam eggcrate toppers for about 10 years; I love them. As I’ve gotten older I looked for a lighter less dense product (weight) and decided to purchase this one based on reviews. I purchased the queen size. It doesn’t fit. It is approximately 3 to 4 inches too small in both length and width. As I’ve use these before I knew to take it to a spare bedroom; unwrap it and lie flat and let it breathe for several days with a cracked window; and occasionally give it a little pull to stretch it into shape. Mine arrive rather misshapen on one side that sort of went away. But from the moment I put it on the bed I knew it was too small and it has not expanded to fill the queen size space. Fortunately I’m one person, and I can fit it to the side of the mattress I sleep on; but it is still too short and when the bed is made it shows through the covers. I believe I was sent a “double” not a “queen” size (it anout 5” too small both length and width.) After contacting Amazon and the vendor, it seems I’m stuck with it again. If it could be returned, returning it would be nightmarish. This is one of the things that it’s probably better to buy locally rather than online.
