This was a huge fire hazard. I plugged it into the outlet and it appeared to work fine, but the prongs were NOT secured. I tried to pull it out of the outlet and the live prongs stayed in the outlet and pulled out of the light instead. I had to cut the power to the room and wrestle it out with rubber handled pliers to keep from setting an electrical fire or getting electrocuted. DO NOT BUY.
