I always read reviews before purchasing on amazon. Some reviews about this product said that they did not have a strong scent... That review was true. I only gave one star because no stars was not an option. The product IS made out of cedar, and the pack can be seen as a value... except for the fact that you have to immediately alter the product in order to make it work... or sort of work... These do not smell enough to scent anything except the end of your nose.... The instructions say to sand the wood if they dont smell... or add cedar oil to the product to refresh the scent... I dont want to have to do WORK on a brand new product to get it to function up to my expectations... I put the pouches in my new truck... and nothing... no smell AT ALL.... I put the hangers in my small closet and in my daughters... NO SMELL... Do NOT buy unless you plan on sanding down all 71 pieces and soaking them in cedar oil... Sand Paper costs more money, as does the cedar oil... VERY DISAPPOINTED..
