The manufacturer provides no information on which to judge if this product has any value
I bought this when I read about research establishing the value of beet juice/powder for athletic performance but before learning enough about what I should be looking for. I'm a regular buyer of Bulk Supplements' other products, but they're selling on pure hype with this one, unfortunately. The critical problem with this product is there is no way to know if it actually contains anything of value because, according to a reply from the seller in the Amazon questions, "Our current supplier does not test for nitrates." So as best I can tell, their "recommended dosage" is just a made up number. Beet root needs to be consumed in an amount that equates to at least 400mg of nitrates to have any value according to the research I've seen. If the seller doesn't have any idea how many nitrates are in a teaspoon of their product, they have no basis for making any dosage recommendation. An eye opening study called "What Is in Your Beet Juice? Nitrate and Nitrite Content of Beet Juice Products Marketed to Athletes" showed a MASSIVE divergence in nitrate content of a large number of beet root supplement products they tested, some of them having basically zero nitrates. Until Bulk Supplements provides specific tested information about how many nitrates are contained in their powder, it's just waste of money for anyone to buy.
