I have a special needs child who wears diapers and who also loves trips to the beach, etc. I thought that this product would be perfect for us! I could take him anywhere w/o worrying about my car seats getting ruined by leaky diapers, etc. And up until today, I got lucky. No leaky diapers - just sand and mud and such, and it actually worked perfectly in keeping my seats tidy. Today, however, we finally tested the waterproof nature of this product. FAIL. My son was swimming. I decided to change him into dry diapers when we got home, not knowing he'd pooped. I knew the ride would be fine, as I had a waterproof cover on my back seat. So, for 12 miles, your product was soaked with pool water mixed with poop. I parked at home, taking the wet cover in with me to launder, leaving my car parked in the hot sun for the remainder of the day. You CANNOT imagine what my car now smells like. The WATERPROOF seat cover you sold me - I cannot express just how disappointed I am. I wish I could send a nice sample of this odor in a link for your enjoyment. Alas, you'll just have to use your imagination. This cover worked really well otherwise, but I bought this item specifically because you claimed it was waterproof. I would suggest you edit your product description to read "water resistant". Let's be honest and save other consumers from your misleading information, ok?
