I liked the romance❤️ but as a person from south america it was kind of insulting how cartels were portrayed. Cartel leaders aren’t dumb men with silly visions of grandeur. Cartel leaders and members are smart and cunning, they are vicious and cruel. They cause real havoc in our countries and communities. They aren’t a rag tag group of incompetent delinquents. Cartels run a worldwide industry of organized crime, and the gangsters in these books were a pale comparison. Please don’t use our third world countries like plot drivers and pitiful places to shove the American savior complex that Americans seem to have. Thanks
