I've never written a review before, but I felt compelled to warn parents about this series. The characters are mean spirited and the book promotes adversarial relationships between siblings. I was shocked and kept waiting for the redeeming moment where the girls learned to treat others with more kindness and understanding. I'm actually saddened that this series is a national best seller.
