Death is not beautiful. Deathly deceptive film.
Beautiful story of life UNTIL it became a deceptive story of death. Death is not beautiful. Which more than ruined the entire film.
BBC has made so many great films, and we love both these actors, so with the large percentage of 5 star, reviews, we jumped in without reading the 1 star. Shame on us... We immediately got sucked in to the chemistry between the actors, the lovely scenery and music. Had the beginning not been so great, the end would not have been so horrific.
Like the beautiful apple given to Snow White, or the fruit that seductively lead to death while the enemy whispered, "You will not surely die."
For all the chronically and terminally ill, disabled, and those who love them, who are desperately fighting for hope, keep on fighting. Your life is worth it. You are worth it.
