★☆☆☆☆
To much gore and violence for me.
I read part of the book but just did not finish it. I got through one female raped and cut into several pieces but when the second one came up, I left. There were a list of about 27 more that could end up that way. Not for me. I could not believe after the first one, with eyeballs nailed to the wall, Prescott just went home and slept with his girlfriend like nothing had happened. Even after the second one, within a few hours he was acting like nothing was going on. Unbelievable. His bedding of so many women, seeming unconcern for the ones killed and his continued smart mouth left me in the cold. I just could not continue reading. If you like a book with a lot of violence and gore, bodies cut into little pieces and eyes gone then this is the book for you. Don't expect much police work, just violence, eating, dating, talking and smart talk. Just not for me.
