I bought these cords to use with my new Samsung Galaxy S9, since I keep misplacing the one that came with the phone. This one was an "Amazon's Choice" item and is highly rated, so I figured it would be a great option. While it does work for connecting my phone to my computer or to my Anker battery, it does not work with any of the wall chargers I have, including the one that came with my phone. These cords came with some instructions on how to make sure you use them properly for high speed charging, but none of that matters at all since, as another reviewer pointed out, the problem seems to be that this will not work with 2 amp chargers. I'm not an expert on this, but I'm pretty sure those are the chargers that you need to actually achieve high speed charging. Moreover, many (most?) newer chargers are going to be 2 amp because who wants a product that delivers a weaker current than their phone is built to accept? In my opinion, this is a MAJOR design flaw and I would never recommend that anyone buy this charger. I can't even believe I'm writing a review on a charger... they should just work.
