The pair I received, while having all the right labels, was clearly fake. There was a sticker on the sole that said the lining was polyester faux fur even though the UGG label on the heel said wool. It also felt polyester — much rougher to the touch than real UGG wool. I’m not sure the main body of the boot was leather. It also felt fake. Perhaps the reviewer who found the boots were not waterproof had also received a fake pair. I contacted UGG and they said that Amazon has been made aware that at least some of the shoes they advertise as UGGs are fake. I’m returning the fake pair and have bought directly from UGG.
