I absolutely LOVE the fit of this shoe. However, after having them less than 4 weeks and wearing them only for a 2 mile walk on pavement 4-5 times a week., there is a hole through the mesh on the inside of one shoe. There is nothing wrong with my toe at this site. There is no hole in my sock. And I had previously purchased a similar pair that I returned after this happened thinking it was a fluke thing--but it clearly is not. A hole should not be worn on the inside layer with such minimal wear. I DON'T want to return these--they fit too well and feel wonderful on my feet. I am just going to try putting a piece of tape on the inside and hope for the best. But it sure would be nice if they would figure out something better for their inside liner. It should be mentioned this was not a cheap shoe--it should be better made. Hopefully Ryka will make a similar type of shoe but with a different material.
