NOT reef safe!!!!! NOT non-toxic to Sealife!!!!
Well, I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this product. It is not reef safe as stated. I am leaving on a trip to an EcoPark in Mexico in three days and have just found out that this product will not be accepted at the park. Thanks for false advertising (in HUGE LETTERS). When purchasing "reef safe" sunscreen please make sure you find a list of ingredients first and check your facts. Maybe they consider this to be "more reef safe" than others but the bottom line is, I paid for a product that is now unusable for its blatantly stated purpose.
Thanks Tropical Seas® on to the next review of another similar product I purchased from them.
Actually, when you read their labeling carefully, the product is called "REEF SAFE by Tropical Seas." The bottle does not state that it is ACTUALLY Reef Safe, just that it is NON-Toxic to Sea Life. It would be like naming your bag of apples "Bananas by Apples Inc." It doesn't mean you are buying Banana's, it's just what I am calling my bag of apples. But I digress.....I just looked on NOAA website and it states "Coral, a sessile animal" which to me would fall under the category of SEA LIFE. So, I will pay more attention to advertising and warn everyone on trip advisor and other sites to not purchase anything from this company due to their false advertising.
