They take a lot of ideas that are popular right now, like how maybe we should stop celebrating the atrocities our country has committed, and morphs them into a childishly proclaimed anti-Americanism. Anyone with half a brain can see right through it, because it's not very well argued. This whole idea of "there have been lots of atrocities, why single out America's?" instantly falls flat when you remember WE'RE AMERICAN! That's why we focus on our own problems. If we want to be the greatest country in the world, we can't compare ourselves to Nazis and terrorists and then say "see they do it too" Basically, the book mistakes celebrating history with knowing history. Most Americans no longer want to celebrate the horrible parts of our history, the only people who want to erase that stuff are the ones who write books like this
