WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I have been a kindle owner from the very beginning, them moved to the Fire and on to the 6. Last Christmas I purchased 3 as gifts and 1 child's as an Angel tree gift. During Prime Day I purchase 2 FIre 7's for my daughters and 2 for a friends daughter. I purchased the yellow fire for my self to replace my 6 since the battery was dying and would not hold a charge. Within ONE month I noticed I was unable to charge without sitting and holding the cord, Due to several family emergency's 2 deaths and an extended stay in PCU for my daughter. Calling Amazon was not a priority. When I did call and waiting on hold answered questions, was transferred to another hold and went over my problem, I was told yes it needs to be replaced. Oh Sorry your warranty expired 8 days ago. We will give you 15.00 off if you buy another one.....No Thanks I will keep in on my desk at work as a very expensive paperweight and tell everyone what to expect when you finally get through to Amazon's customer service.
