This produce arrived well packaged and ahead of estimated delivery. I have been a baker for many years, I even have my own dessert catering business. When I found this vanilla, I was excited at not only the cost but the large size and great reviews. As you can imagine, such a great price is great for my overhead. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! This stuff taste terrible, on it's own and in baked goods. I only use the best products in my baking, no imitation anything! Usually when you take a taste of "real" pure vanilla, just a dot on your tongue, it is sweet and mellow and you think yummmmmmm. This stuff tasted like furniture polish, and yes, sadly I know what furniture polish taste like due to a dare as a youth. I hoped with all my might that if I baked with it, that it would magically turn into something wonderful, like what the other reviewers had described. Nope. Reviewers said a little goes a long way, well it sure does. I only use a quarter of what I normally put in my recipe, my house smells of furniture polish, and both baked goods that I made taste like furniture polish. YUCK!!! Also, real vanilla is made with alcohol, not water as the main ingredient.
