I purchased this product for my Lenovo E580 and installed it with relative ease, however Crucial has rolled out a software known as Executive Storage. During the setup process they heavily imply that you need to download this software to help maintain your SSD and have it function at its full capacity. This software destroys your SSD and erases data from both your NVME SSD and current drive. I called tech support and was on the line for over 2 hours and they stated that they knew about the defect with executive storage yet Crucial has done nothing to fix it.I was on the line for 2 hours as they suggested the same solution over and over and after all that effort, they merely said that you can return it and we might be able to get a new one back to you in approximately 4-6 weeks. Absolutely horrendous product with even worse software to go along with it. Seriously, pick any other SSD, the Samsung Scorpion 970 EVO series is a far better option.
