I had to force myself to read this to the end!
Where to start? First is the fact that this author has decided to go along with so many male authors attempting to curry favor with the politically correct and feminist’s movements.
He is totally politically correct to the point of absurdity. He supports the views of the more radical feminist element that even mainstream feminist’s do not supports.
If you want to read a story where all males, including children, are nothing but door mats for the females to wipe their feet on this might be the book for you.e
If you are male and have no backbone or pride then this might be the book for you.
Moving on to other issues. I read approximately 2 to 3 books per week. This book has to be the most boring sweet, sweet, bland exercise in mediocrity I have read in a couple of years!
The main character's, father, mother and sisters are PERFECT! His sisters marry PERFECT Husbands and have PERFECT children!
When he goes to school he does PERFECTLY!
When he serves as a Marine 2nd Lieutenant in Iraq and Afghanistan all his brother officers are PERFECT and HAPPY, HAPPY!
All his troops are PERFECT and they are all HAPPY! In two tours only 2 Marines die because of an IED and one is wounded. After clearing a Taliban controlled city no one is even wounded!
Even though the main character is a Marine and a hunter and owns hand guns the author shows disdain for 2nd amendment rights at several points in the story.
When he is transported to another world, the country he lands in is ruled by Royalty and have large families and tons of relatives. ALL the Royal family, plus the Dukes, Earls and Barons ruling the cities and towns around the country are PERFECT and rule PERFECTLY!
All their subjects are happy, happy, happy to be ruled be PERFECT Royalty!
With the exception of approximately 70 bandits the country is PERFECT and OH SO HAPPY!
On top of that the conversations are written in a way that make it almost impossible to discern who is talking. At many points throughout the book the author tells us some fact or other. A few pages later up to a chapter later he tells us the exact same information as if we had not just read that 20 pages before.
Do not waste your money or time.
