Sold under the misconception that everything you need for traffic is in the box. Garmin does not make it clear on their website or in the product manual that it does not come with the car charger with the required receiver built in. The seller must have seen other reviews stating this. Shame on you, the seller, for not making this clear. The include cable, the "TA10", is packaged with many units, straight from Garmin. My older unit, the nuvi 2589, is nearly identical, but no HD Traffic, only normal traffic. It comes with the TA10 and it works. I suspected a possible bad car charger receiver, so I rigged both in the same car and swapped cables. Sure enough, the non-HD traffic 2589 worked with both TA10 chargers. The HD traffic 2599 gave the same message with both chargers that it was not the correct charger. I am upset with this. Garmin does not even list in the manual that the correct car charger is an optional accessory and why. The car charger that will allow the HD traffic to function is the GTM60, which is $70 from Garmin and $60 from Amazon. Very unfair and irresponsible of the manufacturer and the seller.
