Product description at the time of purchase read “90% Cotton, 10% Polyester”. Ordered specifically because of this wording. Made sure that ‘Amazon.com’ was both the seller and shipper. Needed a heavyweight, mostly cotton if not all cotton, hooded sweatshirt. Searched Amazon specifically for these characteristics. What arrived was a 65% Cotton, 35% polyester sweatshirt. Doesn’t also appear to be truly “heavyweight” either. What’s more is that the plastic bag had already been torn open upon arrival, indicating to me that someone bought and returned this sweatshirt specifically because of the same reason. It’s a shame that either Amazon, Hanes, or both are allowed to outright lie on product descriptions in order to sell their products. It has soured me on both brands, and I will be returning this and looking elsewhere for what I need.
