When I attached the basket to my bike it matched the aesthetic and looked great. It was easy to set up and I liked the idea of the basket being removable and a carry basket when I wished. The lower part of the bracket was attached using velcro. Easy, right? Well I loaded it up and went for a ride. Wasn't more than a block away when I hit a bump and the basket went flying off the bike! I tried again three times, and the lower part of the bracket did not stay stable, and the top part just hooked to the handlebars and came off too easily. I then was so frustrated I went to the hardware store and bought some black zip ties and ended up affixing it to the bracket permanently. This totally ruins the carry basket idea, but it keeps the basket from flying away. It still is to wobbly and hard to steer due to this. The lower bracket is never really well-attached to the bike. It seems like a design flaw, and I wish I had just bought a basket that attaches to my bike permanently.
