After less than a year my watch got wet and both crystals fogged. I went to find my warrenty and learned the following. Amazon is NOT an authorized retailer of Hamilton watches and therefore Hamilton won't cover the repairs of my watch. I contacted Asurion the company that handles the warranty work, filled out the forms and send off my watch to be repaired. Approximately 10 weeks later I received my watch back. I'm disappointed to report that not only does my watch not work correctly now, the movement and dial are covered with dirt and dust, there is grime caked between the crystal and the case, and the case back was scratched when they opened it. So now I have a damaged and non functional watch and am pretty furious with the quality of customer service by Asurion. Furthermore requests to return the watch have been declined. I WOULD NOT under any circumstances recommend buying a watch from Amazon or their retailers.
