I truly like the Sally Hansen brand, but what an unfortunate event. I heated the pot of wax per the instructions (90 seconds), for some reason the wax wasn't melting (perhaps it was old even though I just ordered?). I did another 20 seconds of heating, STILL UNDER the warning of not hearing over 2 minutes total. In my attempt to stir the wax with a stick after letting it sit for a minute, the wax splattered all over my hand when I broke the surface hard layer of the wax pot. I went to the ER and I have second degree burn on my hand. It hurts terribly. This isn't my first time doing home waxing but will probably be my last-definitely not worth it! Just go to the salon. Update: I called Sally Hansen and they are investigating the product further, sending out paperwork and requesting my medical bills. The lady was very nice on the phone and apologetic. Hopefully things work out!
