These sippy caps are very poor quality. They break immediately when dropped or else pop off and crack, making a huge mess and you have to throw them away! This product is too expensive to have to be replaced on a weekly basis due to breaking. I also contacted LifeFactory twice about this, and their customer service department just ignored me (even though I have spent over $350 with their company since my daughter was born!). What is so shocking to me is that the LifeFactory brand bottles and teethers are great--even after 17 months of frequently dropped bottles they never broke or had any damage at all. As for other reviews I have read here, I did not expect these caps to be spill proof, so I don't have a problem with them leaking when shaken (which they do),and I did not receive any "valves" or "gaskets" with my order, but my daughter is almost 17 months and doesn't need them anyway. And just to be nitpicky--while I am at it--I wish the colors matched all of the bottle colors (we have the orange/yellow color combination but they don't make those cap colors). But honestly, if these caps actually worked and allowed me to get more value from the bottles I bought when my daughter was born I wouldn't care what colors they came in. I do like that the clear caps that come with the bottles to cover the nipple still work with this sippy cap. And I do like the idea of getting more use out of my initial investment. But these caps just miss the mark. I was so excited to see that lifefactory had finally come out with these sippy caps, especially because I love the lifefactory baby bottles. But all in all, this product is a big disappointment.
