We've had this All-Clad piece of junk for less than a year, and it already needs to be replaced. Its predecessor was a ~40 dollar Oster that lasted well over 4 years, while being used more often than this was. The All-Clad's motor has become so weak that it'll barely even spin w/o using the turbo button. I think this was caused by a huge design flaw where fluids can travel all the way up the neck of the blender and pass into the motor compartment. We literally has bisque coming out of the gaps between some of the controls at the top of the unit. It was messy and really gross, hard to clean, and probably fried the motor. (and no, it was not submerged too deeply). The locking mechanism to hold the wand on has also failed. That's not as big a deal, we just have to be really careful when we put it on, but it's another show of the poor quality of this unit.
