I purchased this for camping. I loved the fact that it had a warm light. Great to have on before bed. Lay in the tent, read, and in warm mode it will let you fall asleep, unlike a bright white light. It was bright, loved that it had a hook on top and bottom and it was water resistant. When I buy something for camping I always try it out at home first. Learned that lesson long ago. Better to test at home than out in the field. I used it as my bedroom light for a few days. For the first four days, it worked great. Then, without any warning, the bright white lights stopped working. Only the warm LED lights would work. I sent it back for a replacement. The second one came. I placed my fully charged EBL rechargeable D batteries into the lantern. Turn it on and worked great.....for 10 minutes. Then all of a sudden I heard a popping noise and no light. I removed the diffuser and the solder wires had burn marks where they attached to the LED bulbs. After two I have had enough. DO NOT BUY. Can't Trust them for camping.
