Didn’t pass the paper test
I purchased this oil and a their tea tree oil when I first got into essential oils but didn’t much care for them. I knew very little about them and did not realize the were not supposed to be oily, in glass bottles only not plastic bottles or that the aromas were supposed to be so strong. Recently I purchased 3 other bottles of their oils. I am now much wiser when it comes to oils. I realized immediately that these oils were not the same as other essential oils I have recently purchased. They were visibly thicker, much oilier and had a very weak aroma. I gave Four of them including this one the paper test ( I have not opened the lavender). I also tested 6 other brands of oils. All four of this brand failed none of the others did. This brand must have added some type of carrier oil to all of their oils. They are charging a comparable price as all the other companies for an inferior oil.
What is a paper test? Place a couple of drops of the essential oil to a piece of paper. Place it somewhere safe and leave it to dry. Since essential oils are not true oils they do not leave an oil spot. If you see an oil spot the essential oil is not pure.
