One of two things has happened: Lodge has changed the design of their Fry Basket to a much cheaper and inferior version and Amazon has not updated the picture. -- or -- Amazon is now selling a cheap knockoff instead of the genuine Lodge brand I have attached a few photos for your reference. I ordered this product and it was already shipping by the time I remembered that I already owned one, but this allows me to provide a unique review for this particular product. In the pictures I have attached, my original Lodge fry basket has a RED handle and the one that I was sent is BLACK handle. The one I have had for years, with the red handle, is built well and fits into my dutch oven perfectly. The one that I just received from Amazon, with the black handle, is poorly engineered, poorly built, and does not fit into my Lodge dutch oven properly. The unit I received does not match the pictures here on Amazon, or the pictures on Lodge's website. For these reasons, I believe that Amazon is selling a knock-off and not the genuine Lodge brand fry basket. If you look at my original basket with the Red handle, you'll see the bottom bars are solid, the mesh closely contours the frame bars, the latching mechanism fits snug and overall it matches the Lodge picture exactly except for the red handle. If you look at the black one that Amazon sent me, you'll see that it doesn't match the picture at all. The frame bars are welded, it is not symmetrical, the mesh doesn't contour the frame bars at all, and the handle latch is loose and nothing like the Lodge brand. The strange thing is that both baskets bare the Lodge emblem. Regardless of whether or not Amazon is selling a knockoff or Lodge changed their design, I would NOT order this product. It will not fit your dutch oven and it is nothing like the product pictured.
