Accuracy is questionable
I haven't gone through the entire book myself, but my second-grader found two mistakes in the science section alone. On pg. 285, an alligator is shown as an example of an amphibian. On pg. 299, the answer (confirmed in the answer key) to the question of how many bones are in the hands and feet is 103. Even my child knew that an odd number couldn't possibly be the correct answer. A quick Google search shows that the answer is 106. This kind of sloppy editing is unacceptable in educational materials and makes me question the overall accuracy of the "facts" presented in this book. I will not be purchasing Brain Quest materials again.
